Surfing Dog

Check out this adorable, priceless video of a service dog turned surfing dog!  It is truly adorable and shows how a dog born to be a service dog and trained from birth had other ideas for what she wanted to do with her life!

Too much to choose from!!

I was so excited when CSN Stores contacted me again for another review.  LOVE how much their stores have to offer!!  You can basically buy anything!  (I'm serious, go look!).  Furniture, home decor, bed & bath, everything!!

I absolutely love modern looking furniture!  CSN stores has a great selection of everything!  I actually wish I would have known about them when I was shopping for my furniture.

Pancake Doesn't Like Snow...

We had a white Christmas here in Tennessee.  It was amazing and never happens.  I loved it.  Pancake on the other hand?  Yeah, she doesn't like snow.  She cannot run in fast enough.  Chloe though?  LOVES it!

Leaving on a Jet Plane . . .

. . . and my dog is coming with me as a carry-on. I'm a little nervous, since this is the first time I have flown with her. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions? She does really well in the car, but she also isn't confined to a small carrier, either. I just hope she doesn't bark or cry. And I hope there isn't anyone with a dog allergy on the flight! It may be weird and uncomfortable for her for a few hours, but I know she would prefer that to me boarding her at a kennel for two weeks. I would miss her too much! How could you not?

Pancake needed a new collar

She needed a collar to celebrate Christmas.  At least that is what she was telling me.  You can't argue with her!

Pancake and her blanket obsession

So I asked the kids I babysit what they wanted for Christmas (and remember, I wanted to make as many things as possible!). W told me he wanted a blanket. He has lots of blankets and he sleeps with all of them. So I went and found UK fleece and then bought flannel for the backing. I then purchased blanket binding because I really wanted it to look nice :)

Now, let it be known I cannot do any sewing without Pancake taking over whatever I am making. I think she thinks it is for her or something. So as I am trying to pin my binding this is what happens:

Obviously, I am going to need to sew this so this is not going to work. So I get another nice, soft, fluffy pink blanket and put it down (off to the right). I place her and her bone on it. Nope, doesn't work she gets up and comes right back on my work. Nice Pancake, thank you! But she's too cute, right??

I'm thinking about making her her own little blanket. Would that be spoiling?
